Bob Hall
Robert "Bob" Hall (October 16, 1944) is an American comic artist and writer as well as a playwright and theatre director. Bob began working in the comics industry in 1974 and drew horror stories for Charlton Comics. He soon moved to Marvel Comics and drew Champions and Super-Villain Team-Up. Hall and writer Chris Claremont collaborated on Marvel Team-Up #74 (October 1978) which featured Spider-Man meeting the cast of NBC's Saturday Night Live, blurrying the wall between print and media entertainment. He briefly worked as an editor for Marvel Comics from 1978 to 1979 under Jim Shooter and later joined Shooter as a writer and penciler at Valiant Comics. Bob Hall is the co-creator of the West Coast Avengers for Marvel Comics and is also most remembered at Marvel for his work on Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Defenders, Human Fly, Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition, Peter Paker the Spectacular Spider-Man, Squadron Supreme, and of course the West Coast Avengers mini-series.
